Stella first came to TCSC in 2023 to help build conditioning for competitive swimming, which has remained her main sport. She is a provincial/divisional-level swimmer and has found that CrossFit has become a great complement to her training while also growing into something she genuinely loves. In 2025, she competed in her first CrossFit competition alongside two of her friends, discovering the excitement and thrill of competing. She especially enjoys the community at TCSC, the challenge of the sport, and seeing what she is capable of.
Stella joined the TCSC team in customer service in 2026, helping with the front desk, cleaning, and making sure members have what they need. Her connection to TCSC goes back even further—she first met Kent when she was around eight or nine years old while he was coaching swimming with Kamloops Classic Swimming. Today, TCSC feels like a home away from home, and coming to the gym is often the highlight of her day. Whether she’s training, competing, or helping out around the gym, Stella loves being part of the community that has become such a big part of her life.
