TCSC Member Success Story - Jer Williams 1000 Workouts!

Congratulations  to our latest member hitting our “1000 Level” in our #JUSTSHOWUP program! This means they have done at least 1000 workouts with us (for some, it doesn’t even include dates where “checking in” wasn’t enforced and before we had our gym software keeping track! We are very proud of these members for sticking with us for so long and being an integral part of our community.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE “BENCHMARK” WORKOUT?

Murph - Run 1 Mile, 100 Pull-ups, 200 Pushups, 300 Air Squats, Run 1 Mile. 

You can wear a weight vest or not. I usually partition it into smaller, more manageable segments

For those of you who may not know, Jer loves Murph so much he did a version of it every day for the month of May last year!

HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT DOING 1000+ WORKOUTS WITH US?

Honestly, I feel like now I have to get to 1500.

WHAT DRIVES YOU TO KEEP COMING BACK?

I really enjoy learning new things. New movements, new workouts, new strategies for pacing etc. I’m also motivated by reducing the number of things I’m not good at... Ultimately though, I’m just an addict who found a great & healthy thing to be addicted to.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT TCSC?

There’s too many to list just one.

- The Community/People. It’s so much fun to show up any time of day and be greeted by and do workouts with likeminded individuals, many of whom have become friends.

- TeamWOD’s on Saturday’s - just generally a favourite.

- Sitting on the couches after workouts debriefing the workouts and discussing how we could’ve/would’ve done it differently.

- The many well-run competitions throughout the year

- Having top quality equipment that is well maintained
