Be welcoming and kind to everyone in the gym. Once you're no longer a "newbie", introduce yourself to anyone you don't recognize - a friendly introduction goes a long way!
If you bring your kids to the gym - they are your responsibility. For safety and respect of class participants, please make sure they are not on the main workout area during classes.
Please do not drop empty barbells (or barbells loaded with 10lb or 15lb plates) to the floor! It's hard on the bar and the plates can bend/break. Please do not drop dumbbells or kettlebells.
If you are not participating in the current class, please wait until the class ends before going onto the main workout area.
Don't be afraid to ask questions or talk to a coach about movements. We are not only here to teach, but to ensure you have a safe and effective workout.
Wait until everyone is done with the workout before cleaning or putting away equipment. Everyone finishes workouts at different times and it's disheartening for those not yet done to see their fellow gym mates putting away equipment. If you are done before others, please cheer on the rest! If class is running behind and you really need to go, just leave your equipment where it is and we'll put it away for you.
